Col. Ajay Joshi (Retd.)

Col. Ajay Joshi is a distinguished Indian Army veteran, commissioned into the 19 MAHAR Regiment in 1987. With over three decades of service—including active roles in Op Pawan, Op Rakshak, Op Falcon, Op Savage, Op Vijay, and Op Parakram—and postings across India, he brings deep expertise in leadership, team-building, combat effectiveness, and training.
A graduate of Delhi University and a postgraduate of Kumaon University, he has completed key professional Army courses: the Commando course, Security Officer’s course, and Financial Management & Audit Sensitization course.
Beyond frontline duties, he served as Administrative Officer at Rashtriya Military School, Ajmer, and in the National Cadet Corps—roles where he honed institutional leadership and training excellence.
Since retiring in 2020, Col. Joshi mentors aspiring Defence Force officers at Patro Pune Defence Academy, instilling discipline, dedication, and a nation-first spirit to shape India’s future leaders.
